I was a pet groomer for almost 10 years and I own cats but I do not know the answer to this question. My friend's cat has some odd looking bumps on his rectum and I am wondering if they are hemorrhoids, fissures or if they are possibly anal scent glands that are in need of draining. Can a cat breeder please tell me if cats have these same glands? The cat also has quite an odor back there and I want to see if it is just these glands so I can just drain them for her or if it may be something more serious. It is an older cat and I want to try and save her a vet visit as she is on a fixed income.

Thanks JAM don not know why I did not think to Google it..duh lol Anyway looks like I have a lovely job ahead of me lol I am semi allergic to cats and scratches itch like mad...he is not going to like this, hope Foof takes it easy on me lol
